Hello again,
Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble is performing a show starting July 22rd called Ancient Greek Idol, adapted and directed by Richard Cannaday. It's gonna be fabulous! Of course, I tried out and earned a spot in it, yay! Here's an overview of the play, as seen on bte.org, copied and pasted directly from the site:
Long before Simon had his say, the Mighty Zeus was the ultimate judge. Join your host, Dionysus, for the final round of Ancient Greek Idol, a singing competition that pits Mythology's superstars against one another, with plenty of surprises along the way. Will Midas have just the right touch? Will Arachne spin her way to victory? Local kids and teens join members of the Ensemble on stage as BTE brings these classic Greek Myths to life in a way you've never seen before. These Idols put the "Rock" in Mount Olympus! From Apollo to Persephone, Aphrodite to Icarus, the gang's all here. But there can only be one Ancient Greek Idol.
So, what are ya waiting for? Go buy some tickets! NOW!
